Our Work
EAT THE YARD PROJECT
01
THIS IS MY PROJECT
Through my project, I aim to break the stereotypes surrounding vegan food and show women that plant-based meals can be both delicious and nourishing. By offering authentic, healthy plant-based options, I want to empower women to think beyond traditional dietary norms and explore the vast possibilities of vegan cuisine.
My journey with illness, specifically fibroids, has been a driving force behind this project. Having experienced the debilitating effects of this condition firsthand, I understand the importance of finding natural ways to heal and regain control over our bodies. Through my project, I want to create a supportive environment where women can openly discuss their health concerns and share their experiences.
I addition to providing a safe space for dialogue, my project will also focus on educating women about holistic healing methods. By organizing workshops and cooking classes, we will teach women how to prepare nutritious plant-based meals that promote healing and overall well-being. These sessions will not only provide practical knowledge but also foster a sense of community among participants. Furthermore, I envision my project to include partnerships with local health practitioners and experts in holistic healing.
By collaborating with professionals in the field, we can offer women access to a wide range of resources and information. This will empower them to make informed decisions about their health and well-being and encourage them to explore different holistic healing modalities that resonate with them. Together, we can create a supportive network that promotes women's empowerment and holistic wellness. To continue this thinking, once I have acquired the necessary resources and set up my mobile food trailer, I would start by reaching out to individuals or families who are in need of coaching and support. . Nourishing food provides solace to the soul, while support nourishes the spirit.
Using the Funds
The funds obtained from this project will enable me to obtain my trailer, engage in social network marketing, acquire necessary licenses and certificates, and ultimately achieve success.
I am an advocate of veganism and I actively support the consumption of plant-based foods. Through my project, I aim to eradicate the necessity of causing harm to animals while still maintaining a delicious taste and satisfying texture in our food.
At first, my project has an impact on Michigan, specifically Detroit. The presence of veganism in this area is minimal, lacking the necessary volume to create an impact enough to make a difference.
