The leaves of the wakame are quite supple and pliable so I came up with the idea of using them as wraps and it's perfect.

They must be washed at least 3 times in cold water to remove any sand and sea creatures or shells.

What to Expect When You Receive Your Wakame

In your package may be whole, half, and parts of leaves.

How to use parts or pieces of leaves:

The sticky sugar from the leaves makes it easy to adhere to each other. Use a pizza cutter to remove the center stem. Lay the pieces on cling wrap. Overlap the leaves to make one whole piece for your wrap while they are wet.

Put the filling you will use on the leaves. fold in the sides. Use the cling wrap to help roll it tightly and neatly.

Remove the cling wrap and either eat it cold or warm.

What's in the package? There is never a guarantee as to whether there will be whole or part leaves in a package. There is no way to tell. However, there is every attempt to put whole and half leaves in the packages.

It is rich in Calcium, Magnesium, Iodine, Potassium, Bromine, Phosphorus, Iron, fibre, vitamin A, B-complex, C, D, E & K.
